Introduction for first time customers
You are new here and would like to order at ContactsUniverse for the first time? No problem. The main steps are explained below.
How can I shop online?
FINDING PRODUCTS
For finding the desired product, you have the following search methods available:
- The search box at the top left hand side of the page. This is as easy to use as Google or Yahoo.
- The direct selection box at the center of the top of the page. Click "Choose your product" and it opens a detailed list of all of our products. The product names are listed alphabetically. Simply select the desired product.
Choose a Product
Select your first product, such as Focus Visitint, with the correct data for strength (also called diopter or sphere), diameter, radius and quantity. Then click on "Add to the cart". Now you can see the contents of your shopping cart. Now press "Continue Shopping" to add more articles to the shopping cart.
When you complete your order, click "Checkout". Please register as a new customer in the box marked "I am a new customer". When you register, you only need to enter your address once and you will always have a current overview of your orders.
Order Step 1:
Shipping
Please check your shipping address and change it you prefer delivery to another address. The specified shipping method depends on the country to which the merchandise is being sent. Click "Next".
Order Step 2:
Payment
Please check your billing address and modify it if necessary. Then select the payment method. You can only pay with a credit card (Visa or Mastercard only). Click "Next".
Order Step 3:
Confirmation
Now you see the summary of the order. You can once again check whether the order is correct and make changes if necessary. Click "Confirm Order" to order the goods. You will now receive the message "Thank you for your order" and now your order is complete.
E-mail confirmation of the order
After submitting your order you will automatically receive an e-mail to confirm your order has been received. In the message, all the data about your order will be listed. Please check whether all details are correct and that you have ordered the right products in the desired quantity with the correct lens parameters. If you do not have an e-mail address, you can use free email providers such as web.de, gmx.de or msn.de.
How can I change an order?
If, after ordering, you notice that something is incorrect, please inform us immediately.
You can reach us via e-mail at info@contactsuniverse.co.uk. Please enter here the order number (CU09-XXXXX) contained in the confirmation e-mail.
Because we fulfill your order on the same day, it is possible that your order cannot be changed. In this case please contact our service team, who will provide you with the information regarding returning your order.
Why should I register as a customer?
When you order or when you click on "My Account", you have the opportunity to create your personal online account. By registering you have your personal data available for your next order, and you do not need to re-enter it. Also, you have an overview of your previous orders. For security reasons your credit card data is not saved.
How else can I order contact lenses?
Fax
You can also order by fax using our fax form. The fax number is: +49 (0) 7274 7076-76.
We also take orders by e-mail at info@contactsuniverse.co.uk. Please make sure that all necessary information about the desired products, such as quantiy, diopter values, cylinder, axis, color, as well as your invoice and shipping address. Also please enter your payment information.
How can I pay?
Payment by credit card
Necessary information is: the credit card holder, the credit card number, the credit card type (Visa or Mastercard), the card expiry date and the security number. You will find the three-digit security number printed on the reverse side of your card. Regardless of how many numbers appear in the signature field, the security number is always the last three digits.
